| oO I really miss blogging in Xanga. and I really miss blogging in pretty colors!! My winter break in Taiwan is coming to an end =( but life still goes on =) This winter break has definitely been one of the best! Hungout with some new & old friends in Shenyang.. went to Beijing for my first China conference/retreat! Met TONS of new people & made some friends who I hope to keep in touch with via e-mail or whatever. Met up with some old Beijing friends for a night & ate lots of good yummy beijing food. Traveled to Tianjin by myself & met up with some other conference people. God's really been blessing me wherever I go. By the way, Chinese New Years in China is ridiculous!! Fireworks EVERYWHERE. it feels like a warzone!! Finally hit up Taiwan on the 9th of February.. just after Chinese New Years & spent it with family & old + new friends. Stayed in the mountains for a night w/ my dad & grandma. it was FREEZING. Taiwanese homes really need to look into some heating machines. I took the highspeed railway train down to Kaohshiung & met up with my cousin + her hubby. They took me out to play & shopped until I dropped (not literally). Hungout in Hsinchu with Ted & ate at the modern toilet restaurant where I LITERALLY ate out of a toilet & drank out of urinal.. fun times! then I went back to Taoyuan.. chilled w/ some more relatives. and hit up Taipei w/ my cousin. stayed with my aunt & my other cousin. Wasted a lot of time watching movies & bumming around but I also got to organize some mini reunions w/ OCAC counselors & life's just been real exciting. I really need to control my shopping & all the oily food I've been consuming. I hope I can carry all my luggage back... otherwise, that would suck. The internet cafe I'm at today is a lot better than the one I was at yesterday. I'm starting to ramble on and on like my babybro andy.. miss youu by the way. Okay, my last weekend in Taipei was a LOT of fun =) had niu rou mien w/ my uncle, aunt, & cousin kenny. went back to the best hostel in the world.. chilled & socialized w/ other hostelees. took a little nap =D went out to Shi Da nightmarket *one of my fav nightmarkets ever* and ate tons of good food. haha.. it was raining & I was wearing heels.. & I definitely slipped & fell all over the floor. everyone made fun of me for awhile but I laughed it all off. tried some new dessert thing.. dunno what it's called but it was yummy =) after the nightmarket, we went back to eight elephants. www.eehostel.com <<if you're ever stranded & homeless in taipei, taiwan.. that's the place to be. so yah, pre-gamed a little with the boys & we all hit up luxy. oo fun times. finally, getting a chance to use my own ID in a club over on this side of the country. feels legal & legit.. but honestly, not as much fun. but that doesn't mean the night wasn't fun. nonstop dancing from 11pm-4am.. laszlo's a little crazy ;D but that's another huge long story in itself. haven't swing danced in forever! it was great seeing andrew & christine too!! and meeting new friends as usual. ate @ NY Bagels w/ laszlo, christine, & aaron.. then headed back for no sleep @ all. ate @ the taipei ximending modern toilet restuarant for lunch w/ some friends & hit up the maokong gondola @ night =) it was pretty romantic & kinda chilly. once you reach the top, it's full of tea houses & temples. wish I had a camera.. but my camera committed suicide a couple of months ago. I'll have to look into a new one soon. I'm flying from Taiwan to Hongkong to Tianjin tomorrow morning.. and then from Tianjin, I'll have to bus it to Beijing.. and take a flight from Beijing to Shenyang. *whew* I hope I survive all that... please pray for my safety =) thanks. can't wait to see all my lovely friends & daddy again! mmkay, that's all for now. my last entry until.. my next time in Taiwan or Hongkong or America. because Xanga & China just don't cooperate >.< take care & God bless,

| hellooo.. it's been a few years since I've blogged here because Xanga doesn't cooperate with me in China. I figured I'd take this sweet opportunity to update whoever subscribed to my wonderful life about my current whereabouts & what I've been up to. I'm still studying clinical medicine in Shenyang & this past semester has been a pure adventure. I'm honestly enjoying life more & I'm sure it's because of God's great work + all the amazing friends he's blessed me with. I've been attending Shenyang International Christian Fellowship & trying to take on a little bit responsibility here and there. Classes have been manageable but I really need to step my academic game up. Medical school is no joke =( My last visit to Chicago was Summer 2007 and definitely had a few memorable moments. Thanks to those who made it all worth it :) you know who you are. and now, I'm spending my Winter 2008 in beautiful Taiwan where most my relatives are. It's nice to see my mini nephews & nieces. Especially the newest addition to the family.. Sean Huang! He's going to grow up into such a heartbreaker. I probably won't get a chance to post up pictures but if you're my friend through facebook, go check 'em out over there.. probably around early March because I'm kinda lazy. I also spent some of my winter break in Shenyang, Beijing, & Tianjin. Lately, been making a lot of new friends & living the life. Quite sleepy now.. going to take a nap, start packing for Taoyuan, shower & who knows when I'll be able to Xanga again. I've really missed blogging here though. I guess I'll update a little more. my daddy's good.. he's living & working in Shenyang but we don't live together. he has his own apartment & I'm dorming. it's just more convenient for us that way. my mommy's good as well. she's still @ oceania tours & my sister just recently got into the whole travel agency business too. if you guys need air tickets, let them know! hmm.. spiritually, I'm being fed pretty well. so no worries there. my social life's been skyrocketing. academics could skyrocket anytime now... and boys? yah, I'm about to celebrate my one year anniversary of being single =) ladeelaaaa. sometimes, I forget how much I love being unattached & drama-free. okiedokie, well you know how to contact me if you really wanna keep in touch. | There's so many new features on Xanga! I won't really bother with them because I just like sticking to what I know. Anyway, I realized that life is too short and I don't deserve to be unhappy for this long. Starting from today, it's going to be a new week, a new month, a new year, a new everything! I'm going to focus on living my life, getting through school, spending time with family & loved ones. Next week, I'll try to go out more and meet some fresh faces. I really need to start setting some goals for myself. I want to work out more and get into better fit. Start eating right and stop being so lazy. A lot of you are probably wondering what's been wrong with me... I guess I've lost myself for awhile? and I'm just trying to find out who I am... again. I know I'm not the only one who feels lonely at times or wishes things were different. Anyway, here's my monthly agenda that will hopefully get me through this tough second semester!

| There's something about blogging that I enjoy. I don't really know what it is but writing down my thoughts and feelings kind of relaxes me. Honestly, I've been feeling really sad lately and I'm sick of it. I know it's completely up to me about feeling better and just making the best out of the situation but... I can't do it by myself.
I want to be happy again and I want to learn to have fun again. I want to be able to laugh without feeling guilty. I'm thousands of miles away from home and I'm usually really good with "making the best out of the worst" but nowadays, I've just been feeling like poop. I know it's not the end of my world and I know everything will be okay. I know all these things but yet a part of me just wants to be all depressed and unhappy. Being this "emo" is really unhealthy to my self-esteem. I don't know how I became such a huge hermit crab :(
Maybe if I talk about happy things, I'll feel happy.. I like surprises :) no no, I LOVE surprises! I'm a special person because lots of people tell me so. I'm in love with country house burgers & Maxwell cheeseburgers! I hate having regrets, they make me sick. Literally being sick is also gross and my immune system sucks. Okay, I'm drifting into negatives, back to positive things please! I get bored a lot in Shenyang so I do silly things like get my cartilage pierced and curly perms for my hair. I love comfort! I like to dress comfortably and look sophisticated =) and that's why I like Express clothing because it gives me both. My bed is super comfy and I like stuffed animals. I don't think I'm ever too old to have stuffed animals. I don't like having the same things that everyone else has. I like to be unique and different and well, special. God's really blessed me with a great family and wonderful lovely friends. I have no idea where I'd be or what I'd be doing without them. I like fruit juices and tea, but not together. I love watching movies and relaxing. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to go clean up my room and watch a movie. I should read though... and start studying... even though my exams are in July. It's time for productivity and not moping around being sad!
